The Inner London Area of the Ramblers' Association is currently made up of seven local groups.

We are in the process of setting up an additional, eighth, group geared specially for families with young children. See the Families Group page for further details of this new group.

Ramblers' Association members are normally allocated to their local group according to their postcode, but can request to join a different group if preferred.

Six of the seven Inner London groups are postcode based, whereas the Metropolitan Walkers, our group aimed at people in their 20's and 30's, is Area-wide. Members who wish to join this group must specifically request that they are allocated to it.

Members can select the group of their choice at the Ramblers' Association main website.

As well as extensive walks programmes, most of the groups also have social programmes, and some organise walking weekends away. See individual group sites for details.
