Long Walks

The Ramblers organises walks of all types: short, long, country, city, flat, hilly, gentle, energetic, etc.

The majority of walks are in the range of 5 to 15 miles. For those that like a challenge, below we've picked out some of the longer walks (15 miles and over) from our walks programmes.

If you're not a member of the Ramblers, you're welcome to come on one of these walks for no charge, though we do ask that after you've come on a couple of walks with us and wish to continue, that you join as a member.

Because of their length, these walks are relatively fast paced and quite strenous in nature. If you're new to walking then we recommend you start with our short walks first, and then move up to our regular walks, before embarking on these longer walks.
