We are delighted to report that the Cox’s Walk footbridge on GCW section 11a has reopened and an excellent job has been done.
The diversion mentioned in our walk guidance to GCW section 11a is now obsolete and the amendments are below.
In due course we will update the guidance but for now walkers should:
- Page 5 - delete paragraph 2 and replace with this text
At the end of Cox’s Walk there is another gate, a Green Chain main signpost (grid reference TQ 34443 72813) and a footbridge to the left. Section 11a ends here, joining section 11. - Page 5 - delete paragraphs three to five
- Page 6 - delete paragraph 1.
