At the beginning of June we recieved a message from a walker to say that unfortunately the path around Walthamstow Wetlands is still closed just past the Marine Engine House so you have to return to the entrance/exit on the same path.

On page 10 of our walk guidance for section 1 we suggest a very worthwhile diversion making a circuit of part of Walthamstow Wetlands. A walker has let us know that the return path from the Engine House between reservoirs 1 and 2 is closed.
At the moment, to complete a circuit, walkers have to take the longer path back between reservoirs 2 and 4.
We do not know how long the path will be closed for.
