The path between River Drive, off Hall Lane, and the footbridge over the River Ingrebourne has degraded to the point of being potentially dangerous (as shown on the map below). It was once Tarmac but
only the brick-rubble substrate remains. It is rather steep, very loose and rough underfoot, and has deteriorated noticeably in the past six months.
(Note that on our maps the chevrons point uphill.)
