Page 6 of our walk guidance for section 21 directs walkers past the end of Priory Road to enter the woods on the left at a Loop signpost taking a path alongside the Carters Brook in a steep-sided dell.
A walker has let us know that walking by Carters Brook is now almost impossible. There seems to have been a storm and there are many branches on the ground at the side of the brook which makes the path impassable.
Fortunately it it easy to follow the alternative route just keeping along Tees Drive outside the trees until its end where you turn left to rejoin the main route.
