Walkers have reported to us that the narrow length of Section 3 of the London Loop near Holwood Farm to Bogey Lane is very overgrown as shown by the smaller image. Brambles and stinging nettles are making it difficult to get through. The grid reference is TQ423629.
The walkers in late May had secateurs with them and did some basic pruning but the plants are growing fast and need more work especially as the hedge on the right of the path has grown pushing walkers to the left where there is barbed wire.
It seems that more work has been done by volunteers to clear the path as indicated by the image below.
