A walker reports that the main entrance into Bourne Park through the large white archway was closed recently.
If so, you can access the park by an entrance through the car park which is up along Spring Street. Rejoin the Loop route through the car park, then walk as if coming back to the main road and the archway entrance, to the lake.
Note that the hall and the cafe in the park are closed on Sundays.
