Page 4 of our walk guidance states "From here [turning right at the signpost to RSPB Purfleet], the narrow path, running roughly parallel to Ferry Road, may look overgrown but it is passable".
Recently several walkers sent us warnings that this narrow path, just after the A13, was so overgrown that it had become impassable.
We are glad to say that the latest news is that the path has been cleared and is now walkable again as shown below.
