A walker has reported problems on the path which consists of a ramp and then a steep flight of steps up to the major A2 trunk road (see paragraph 3 on page 9 of our walk guidance).
The route is not blocked, however, there is a sheer drop into the undergrowth alongside the steps and the missing handrail has been replaced by a line of freestanding cones.
On a recent club walk a couple of members had to turn back because they were unable to negotiate the steps without support.
