Near the start of section 20 of the Loop, the route crosses Vicarage Road and then joins a path running parallel to the road. See paragraph 5 on page 4 of our walk guidance for this section.
Currently two fallen trees block the start of the path just beyond the road sign. The tree trunks have caused quite a lot of damage.
It is possible to scramble over the two tree trunks and follow the path, however many walkers will find it easier to adopt the suggestion in paragraph 1 on page 5 of our guidance.
