A walker starting section 3 of the Loop has let us know that the Queensway exit from the station is closed off for major maintenance works. This phase is due to be completed by the end of October.
This walker found a detour that was not too tricky. Left out of the other (eastern) exit, under the big blue DUNSTONIAN COURT sign, and then onto a path at the back of the car park. Continue over another bridge crossing the railway, and rejoin the documented route at the end of Queensway.
Information about the repairs to the footbridge, including dates, are described on a Network Rail web site. The map of the recommended diversions are shown by the image below taken from the Network Rail web site.
These works affect the end of section 2 of the Loop as well as the start of section 3.
