A walker has reported that she walked section 17 of the London Loop on 28 October, and encountered a problem on page 6 of our walk guidance (see paragraph 6). The top gate, on the other side of The Ridgeway, was open as the walks guidance says, but the bottom gate, leading onto Rectory Farm Road, was firmly locked and there was no other way out. Her group had to retrace our steps back to Ridgeway Road and follow the original route round by the road.
